Why has it been changed again? Bad enough being moved to the dump in the first place|
-
There's an old saying 'forwards win matches, backs decide by how much'. The York forwards make the hard yards, and then Harris and Hingano create the space and opportunities to score. Harris is the leading points scorer in the league, heaven knows how many tries he has been the chief provider. BJB will testify to that.

it would help if the Press had even half decent journalists who provided accurate reporting.

I don't condone players reacting with signs to the crowd, indeed your very own Dane Chisholm had a masters degree in it! Hopefully, somebody will have a quiet word and remind the players of their responsibilities It is also, in my opinion, a sad reflection on certain supporters, of all clubs, who seem to want to goad the opposition more than support their team. Regarding the game, I thought too many of your 'big name' players threw the towel in after McShane's try. We weren't sure he grounded the ball, but, the ref was in a good position to see. I was surprised to see some of your fans pick Hampshire and Reynolds in your MoM thread., For me, Aekins, Wynne, Gale, Jubb and Day were far better on the day.
-
It'll have been the ref's fault no doubt. Great result, well done from York.
-
Thanks I'd agree with that. The game hinged on McShane's try, and to be honest I'm not sure he grounded the ball, but the ref was right there. I think Rovers reaction after that handed the game to York. They seemed to lose all interest. est I'm not sure he grounded the ball

Think I'd class the LNER game as a 4 pointer as well. Whatever happens today, we will still be no lower than 3rd, could even go second if Barrow win.
-
Looks even better after tonight. Widnes 24 Toulouse 4.
-
I may be wrong, but I think we are the only team in the Championship who have not used a D/R or loan player this season. That should count for something when IMG are awarding points.
-
If you are coming by car, make sure you park in the Park and Ride car park, and not in the shopping centre or Hollywood Bowl area.
-
A few lapses in discipline still. Penalty count yesterday was 8 - 3 according to the League Express.
-
Sunday's officials at Widnes. What would Victor Meldrew say? Widnes Vikings v York RLFC 22nd June, KO: 15:00 Referee: S. Mikalauskas Reserve Referee: G. Shaw Touch Judge 1: J. Stearne Touch Judge 2: T. Gibbs Time Keeper: A. Brown
-
Why do the RFL allow them to play at this dump? The pitch doesn't meet the minimum size requirement, and the facilities for spectators are shocking.
-
She is. It's hard to imagine she'll be with the Press for long, surely better opportunities will arise.
-
According to the League Express, Mr. Bella had charge of the Salford v Saints match.
-
Bradford fans blaming the referee? Surely not!
-
Panic over. Valks, with a few players playing out of position come home with a 26 _ 0 win. Well done ladies.
-
I've said it over and over again, there are times when the communication between the club and the supporters leaves a lot to be desired. Komaitai is I believe in the army, so she has probably been deployed elsewhere, but if so, why not say. The Valks have only named 20 players this week, including Evie Sexton who I believe is a long term injury, and 2 under 19's. No Renouf, Rihari, Liv. Wood, or Fjtzpatrick.
-
Disappointing when players leave, but whatever the reasons, if they want to go,there is no point keeping them here. I think Kelsey may struggle to regain full fitness, but she played a big part in recruiting many of our current squad, and in the Valks winning two grand finals. Thanks Kelsey, good luck to her whatever she does in the future.

Are you sure Simon?
-
This Sunday's referee is none other than Mr. J. Vella.
-
I think the conditions had the biggest effect on the half backs. Not a day for running and throwing.the ball about.
-
It was a poor decision from the referee, but I thought the ref. had a good game, using common sense in what were terrible conditions to play in. We were amazed you didn't go for the drop goal at the end of normal time, likewise why Harris didn't go for goal when we got a penalty a bit earlier. It was compelling stuff, both teams gave everything, I'm just glad York came out on the right side.
-
YES.

We should parade the trophy around Odsal before the game next week. As Jim Bowen would say, 'look at what you could have won'.
