Carried on from the poor second half performance from last week and collective the coaching staff,players and the team performance was awful today and why if we have 4 props in the 17 are we starting with Bailey at prop who's best position is in the second row where he gives us energy and more attacking options with his carries and pace .This was a totally unacceptable performance today and instead of looking forward to next weeks game against Featherstone we are going to have to put a lot of things right in training and hopefully turn up with a belief that we can compete against Featherstone.

Great value if you want to do both days ,but think the fixtures could have been decided after this weekend's games so the games for the summer bash would have been on your league position after this set of fixtures and in theory having more competitive games over the weekend.

Certainly looks the part and is probably is more advanced than some of our younger players at this time,but not taking anything away from Harrison and Ward who are real talents and will keep improving as the season goes on but not by playing them in every game.

Excellent home draw against a team that has had a great start to the season but certainly would fancy our chances being at home.

Thought we bombed a few tries in the first half and ref was to lenient with West Bowling especially first half,but overall the performance was patchy especially in the second half.

Hendo seemed confident that Bailey hadn't done anything wrong on the footage he has seen of the alleged incident so how can you find him guilty of the offence if it doesn't show anything.

Should be a comfortable win this afternoon against a team 3 divisions below us,but the main thing is we don't pick up any more injuries and a possible suspension for Bailey.Let's hope we get a decent crowd for the game seeing it only £10 to watch the game this afternoon.

Certainly doesn't come across as player who plays with that in his game and would be a huge loss to the team if found guilty of the offence.

Think fordy would have been one of the front runners for the job if he hadn't jumped ship at the end of last season.

Another sold display and win today against a team that has started reasonably well and actually nil them on their own patch must give the team and the coaching staff a massive boost going forward only downside is a couple of injuries to a couple of players at the end of the game.

Won't be a easy game,Swinton have started reasonably well winning 2 from 4,think if we go with the right attitude and not expecting swinton to just roll over we should come back with the 2 points.

For whatever reason we can't seem to attract supporters to watch the knights compared to York city who are regularly getting 4000 a game to watch the 5tier of football and i know it doesn't help when the game is shown on a live stream ,but if we are serious as a club we need to start building our fan base to 2500 so we can compete with the likes of Featherstone and Bradford .

Should be a great day out for club and players of Acorn.

Great start to the game today playing rugby from inside your own 10 and scoring in your first set.The rest of the half was even and certainly not helped by the ref.Second half even when we were down to 12 players thought we looked more disciplined as a team and in control of the game against a average Barrow team.Special mention to Thompson who was magnificent and led from the front with his carries.

Apart from Featherstone who certainly look like the team that are going to take some beating this season the rest of the teams in the championship can easily beat each other going on what's happened to the start of the season.

Had a look on the knights official website nothing about it been a £10 to see the game on Sunday.

Let's hope it attracts any new supporters who have been thinking of going to watch the knights,but also might be also to do with Heworth playing at the same time at Hunslet and i believe that a lot of knights supporters are going over to Hunslet to watch Heworth instead this Sunday.

Not criticising the young lads,but you have to look after them,just pointing out that if we could get one or two in the short term and are up to championship level it would be a benefit to the team.

Listening to the commentary last night it sounded like we put in a great effort with only 16 fit players available and 5 of those were under the age of 20 which bodes well for the future,but why the rfl sanctioned a game in Toulouse on a Saturday after we had played on a Monday night absolutely baffles me and needs to looked at to help other teams prepare more for the game,short term with our injury problems we are having at the moment wouldn't we be better off DR with a super league club to help us out and i know it doesn't sit well with a lot of supporters but you can't run a professional club with just 16 to 18 players every week .

Thought Ta'ai was out long term ?

Think a lot of the players families are sat at that end of the stadium,but would be nice to applaud the knights fans at our end of the stadium who certainly get behind the knights through out the game.

Great team effort especially from the forwards who never took a backward step against a big Bulls pack let's hope we have a team for Saturday with another injury and Daley suspended for the game.

Massive game for us tonight against the Bulls,still missing key players,but we need to win or otherwise we are possibly going to lose our first 3games of the season with Toulouse on Saturday,this Division is unrelenting and before you know it your looking over your shoulder instead of competing for a top six finish.
