Hearing things like this make me feel sick inside. Here is a question for you all . What would you do if you had enough money to tell the RFL what to do ? I Personally would say -- Ok Keep the sooperdooper league, Then I would form a new sport called - "Traditional" Rugby league and play all the matches with clubs with history in the Northern part of GB.

Its not a bad thing though that a club like Barca are interested in RL in some degree.

Personally, I don't think it's a bad thing that Barcelona wish to branch into Rugby League or, for that matter, joining Super League. What bothers me is the way that it would be done and at the expense of another space that will never be filled by a traditional Rugby League club. Recent evidence shows that the RFL would steam-roller over all the traditional clubs, who have fought for years to survive in this game and who still deserve the right to strive to compete at the highest level of the game but can't because the spaces are taken up by manufactured clubs who are then given the old blue light escort into Super League with their pretend spectators and second rate, washed up Aussie players.

Does this not strengthen the case for 2 'super leagues', SL1 and SL2? Way things are going there is going to be far too many quality teams to not go down that road.

They have to face facts, something has to be done or it will result in the demise of many clubs and further weaken our game.

The weak conform, the strong survive.

It might be better if we had Super League GB and Super League Europe :lol:

It'd be better if we had SL England, SL Celtic Nations, SL France, SL Spain, SL Italy, SL etc SL etc and so on... and SL Europe was our Champions League, but that'll never happen, ill go back to my dreaming...

it as been mentioned before and it the only way superleague can go forward without loosing the traditional clubs like Fev . Both leagues full time so making a strong corridor between 1 and 2 league .
