I should have mentioned this earlier because the thing is sold out, but I'm attending the Roots of Rugby League course in Huddersfield tonight.  I think it's more a series of lectures rather than a course.  The guy in this video, Tony Collins is presenting it:

On my way home on the train now. It's a really interesting course. It's made me feel all proud of my Northern heritage and I've learned a few things about our game that I didn't know.

What types of things did they go over Ie-the creation of the northern union, the clubs that created it etc.

That exactly. Tonight's session was about how Rugby came about and dispelled a few Union fuelled myths. Next week is all about the build up to the split.
