Fantastic article by Joe Ctabtree in this month's Cup Final edition of Rugby League World- It's the one highlighted on the front cover as "Drop Out Who Won the Cup". It's about Ken's life story and his battle to overcome dyslexia as a child before the condition was recognised. Great read.

Says hello at every home match comes up to me at GG and has a chat. Gave him some advice and he rewarded me with a chocolate bar for quite a few matches. Remember him as a player. Great bloke and a wholehearted team member. Will get a copy of the magazine.

Ken tells a good story about when he was courting his wife Beryl who lived on Post Office Road. When taking a conversion Terry Clawson always used to joke with him "Which is thy girlfriend's window again Kenny?" so that he could tray to put the ball through her bedroom window.

Ken was an absolute pleasure to interview when putting the piece together. A man who loves Fev as a team and a town. That comes through in everything.
