Why would a RL fan want any players to suffer injuries,irrespective of who they play for.

My option: no injuries to anyone. These are professional sportsmen and human beings. I want my team to win but by being better than the opposition. An opposition player this season might be on our team next time round.

I hear you guys, I’m not preferring death over life or career ending over not.

I thought this poll may be in poor taste, turns out it is and says more about me than the rest I guess.

the point I was trying to get to, would you prefer a GF win or a SOO win. As I thought about this more throughout the day, I can only imagine it matters on a whole host of matters like:

- when was your last SOO/GF victory

- how successful has your SOO/GF team been

- what chances your club has in winning this years GF

and on and on, which may change from year to year.

A poorly written poll, let’s forget about it.

Club over State or Country conundrum.

I’m not an Aussie and can only give a view from a distance, but for what it’s worth I instinctively want to put my club first over anything else but I temper that by putting the players in my club’s interest first.

So actually for Rep footy I’d side with the players and go against selfish instincts and say 

1. International honour

2. Grand Final honour

3. State or equivalent honour

An example is the England match in Denver. I can see why the clubs might not want their players going.

I don’t respect the NRL for their latest statement.

If the players want to represent their country they should be allowed to.
