Just looked on the Heritage website .... https://orl-heritagetrust.org.uk/

In the drop-down box of the "Facts and Figures" page is a section named "Honours" and then a sub-section of "Club records 1895 -1996" (ie The original club).

It is 25 years ago today (12 February 1995) that Oldham scored their highest ever points total ... 70-10 at home to Bramley in the Challenge Cup.

25 years ago !!!  Yes I was there and it seems like yesterday !

I took my step dad to his first game that day. Wilson Marsh kicked 11 from 12 from all over the place if I remember rightly.

I'm pretty sure that's not our highest score. Didn't we beat West Wales 102.6 a few years ago?

Yes... but read my post ....

ie: "The original club"  - before the new one was formed.

Oldham v St Helens, Round 2 Challenge Cup.  The round after that Wigan win.

Yes... a great reward for beating Wigan !!!!!!!

EDIT ... I note that "lalar" is "confused",   To explain -  my above comment was meant to be sarcastic one (ie  Against all the odds Oldham beat the favourites Wigan in round one and then - as a "reward" - are drawn against second favourites St.Helens).
