Climate change & the start of the season

Most agree climate change is happening and stats bear it out.

The climate is getting warmer, warmer air holds most moisture and subsequently we have seen an increase in flooding.

So, with that in mind, should we be starting the season in January? Don’t we have scientific evidence that winter games are ever more likely to be disrupted and postponed (as has occurred in the past month)?

Shouldn’t we start the season later and have fewer regular season rounds?

leave it as it is, and supply every fan with a brolly and a big woolly jumper.

Not sure we'd get much credibility in proclaiming our support for preventing climate change while in the next breath heralding our pan-Atlantic, pan-European(ish) Super League.

That wasn’t my point. I’m not saying we start the season later to support climate change but because of it.

How do winter sports like football and Union cope, I’ve always wondered that.
