SJD Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I'm shocked nobody has posted this but sadly Keith passed away yesterday at Furness General Intensive Care. Whenever we talk of Barrow Raiders, especially it's history, Keith is always the first person we think of, he worked tirelessly for the club's benefit, this is a sad, sad day. RIP Keith
Dave W Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Terrible news. Barrow Raiders through and through and a fantastic bloke as well. We all owe the club's very survival to people like Keith - and on more than one occasion, in his case. My sincere condolences to his family.
Shipbuilder Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 This is awful news, \keith was a great bloke and did so much for Barrow Rugby. RIP Keith and condolences to the family
Town utd Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 RIP Keith, will be missed at local games as well as at craven park, great rugby league man.
fortyearer Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Heard this awful news yesterday. I have lost a good friend of many years. Keith was just about the best company you could wish to be in on a night out, at a rugby league game or a pool match (he was a very good player). A great wordsmith and knowledgeable historian of the game of Rugby League, he devoted years of his time just trying to keep his beloved hometown team viable over so many decades. His pin sharp wit and infectious enthusiasm for any task he undertook will be my enduring memories of him. It is so sad that we will not be able to attend Keith's funeral during this time of lockdown. My sincere condolences and best wishes to his wife Trisha and his lovely family.
The Vet Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I was gutted when I heard of Keith’s passing yesterday, As one of the clubs historians he had great knowledge of the club and was great company to be in, a straight talking man who is the type of person I like to know, condolences to Trisha, Kathy & Louise & the rest of the family. Phil
