Just seen that our past player Terry Gorman passed away yesterday. I may be wrong, someone might correct me, but I think he made his debut for us at Lawkholme Lane. Sad time for the club and the family. Hope we hold a silence on Monday evening.

If I remember correct, German,Gittins and Martyn used to come over to training and home matches in Terry's car.

Terry Gorman was Stan Gittins uncle and brought him to the Mount in 1968/69. Terry had signed the previous season when he will forever be remembered with the last minute drop goal that beat Leeds.  In 1969 he helped arranged a pre-season friendly with Leigh Miners Welfare, which on the back of, he helped us sign Tommy Martyn and John Cooke.

Rest in peace Terry.
