Deja-vu tries

Recommended Posts

Take a look at the video below, from the Newcastle v Sheffield game at the weekend

Have a look at the first try, scored at 2:25 on the video. Halahifi passes to Aston, who passes to QLT, who passes to Chrimes on the left wing. Chrimes races clear and is challenged by Donaghy (no.6), kicks inside for Thackeray who scores under the posts.

Then fast forward to 3:25. Sheffield's video editing team have goofed and included the same try! Halahifi to Aston, to QLT, to Chrimes, who is challenged by Donaghy so kicks inside for Thackeray to score.

Except they haven't goofed...it's 2 different tries in the space of about 15 minutes. Not sure I can remember two tries that looked so alike in the same game, other than obvious barge-overs etc.

Even to the point where the ball bounced twice on each kick before it was collected and the try scored!
