There's plenty of players who have played well this season, but think Bailey O'Connor has been the find of the season.

Strong on defence, takes the ball up well, quick, good sidestep, great handling and as shown with the final try to give Gabriel his hat trick a team player. He could easily have gone for the corner himself.

Hard to believe this is his first season as a semi-pro player.

Yes, I would agree with this. Raw to begin with but clearly very talented and improved consistently throughout thank to some great coaching. Now let's make sure that we hang onto his talent along with others who have shone this year.

Finny did warn us of his talents, which were borne out yesterday with his defensive work and that delightful break and obligingly passing the ball to Gabriel and his hat trick.

Get him tied to a good contract.

We need to start thinking of recruitment and retention now!!  We have at least 2 week advantage over promotion hopefuls from L1 and relegation threatened Championship teams!
