I was saddened to read elsewhere that Tony passed away in a Dewsbury hospital in June. I may be wrong but I don't seem to recall anything on the clubs website of his passing. Tony was absolutely class when he played for Hornets.

Tony was an absolutely class player. He played in the mid 70s when we had a side that could match any other team. I think he played in the John Player Final against Warrington. We had a good set of forwards and some clever backs at that time. Really sorry to hear that he had passed away.

Yes, loose forward in that team. Also played once for GB before joining Hornets. A real classy player.
