Yes, I could see the SL champions being invited there every year until they add an 18th club - whilst they have an odd number of clubs they will be quite happy for us to even up the numbers for their pre-season.

Wigan certainly do have that money and a World Club Challenge at a packed DW could be a nice earner for all.

Wigan have though always had no fear of playing these games in Australia and see it as the ultimate challenge.

A bit of seculation here but with NRL pre-season (10-17 February) affected by the Las Vegas Games, I would not put it beyond the NRL to schedule the WCC on week 1 on a Thursday or Friday (7-8th March) as they are two games down on the slate and this may satisfy Channel 9 and Foxtel
