They're working towards 11 teams in elite 1  next year with Villefranche moving up,

ILLE XIII (2nd) play Carpentras (3nd) this afternoon. Battle from the Catalans and the Provence. ILLE have been top team over the last few seasons - and have turned promotion  down At the moment

I played for Carpentras in Elite 1 just over 20 years ago. Lovely part of the world

Good win for local village team RCLA against high flyers Ille. Really surprised this game went ahead in bad conditions but the faithful were dished up a good treat. Lescure, bolstered by some help from the Albi squad somehow mastered the mud more effectively than the opposition. Some farcical moments but, a wins a win.
