Sorry to hear the passing of Abe at the age of 89.

He played in the early 60's just when I started watching Rovers.

  He was a very good prop forward who played with Saints when selected for GB in 1958.Played for the Featherstone team which beat the Aussies in 1963.Front three of Terry,Fawley and Dixon would match most front tows in the game at that time.RIP.

My old man Allen Terry signed for Batley in 1968, still known as Abe to this day as a fellow prop. RIP
