I think it’ll be tight but would be no shame in losing this weekend. Oldham have a good Championship squad playing in L1.

It depends on who handles the conditions better, hopefully owdam 🏉

I think this will be key,on a better pitch I think Oldham would win.

Barrow were not labelled the mud kings for nothing, the pitch will be a good leveller but I still have a feeling Oldham might win this.

Very interesting game this one. It's always tough at Barrow but I'm going for a close Oldham victory.

Barrow 12 Oldham 20

You were off by 2 points for both teams. Hope you can do better next time. 🙂

Any Roughyeds tell us who is pumping the brass into their club or are they generating it themselves?

That is some team for a League One outfit👍🏻

Bill Quinn is the Chairman of the new board and is in his 2nd stint at the club. Originally came on board when Chris Hamilton was in charge but left after a couple of years.

With the change in ownership last year Bill came back on board and his vision and motivation for the club is incredible. Bill is very open in comms and the club have stated sponsorship is up 5 times on last year so he is bringing in additional money. Season ticket sales well up on last year and crowds up with the move to Boundary Park. Believe the club benefit more from ground sales than they did at their last “home” so all bringing in additional revenue.

Mike Ford as CEO has the on field vision and has done great signing the squad we have in place but Bill brings the cash and some sponsorship.

All sounds very promising for you all and pleasing to see, what kind of crowd figures do you think you could attract once the ball starts rolling?

I have no doubt Oldham will be in the Championship next season (or whatever League they come up with)I’ll look forward to visiting with Barrow 🤞🏻
