Big crowd for this one.

Both sides making good metres in possession but both teams losing the ball too often when it counts.

Knights a bit confused  and making errors as a result. Offering Raiders too many chances.

He ducked his head in and was trying to score near the line. The defenders had no other option other than to likely concede a try.

Ponga magic but ref says there was some obstruction.

No try.

Gamble denied a try.

Tough but that’s the rule.

Knights their own worst enemy at times there.

Nothing much between the two sides though.

Had to miss the second half - family duties.

Looks like Knights continued in the same vein as the first half being punished by Raiders.

The Canberra Raiders beat the Newcastle Knights 28-12 on the back of a starring display from Hudson Young in their clash at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Some tipped them to finish with the wooden spoon, but Ricky’s Raiders did what they do best overcoming the odds and handing the Knights a reality check at home in this one.
