Jonty leaves Whitehaven.

Recommended Posts

Hi, Just watched an interview with Jonty on his sadness at leaving haven. Everyone could see the emotion he was going through on his decision but I myself believe it was something to possibly the reinstatement of a board member but I have no proof of that. The home win on Sunday v donny was a great result for not only Jonty but for the haven fans who have gone through some turmoil this season, My hope is that haven can win a few more games to stay in the championship along with Barrow, but i think it is a bit to late for them and Barrow are still not safe from relegation, I know there is much talk about Jonty coming to Town next season but from myself I wished that he would have stayed to finish the season with haven. I have known Jonty from the first time he came through to the changing rooms to join with Town, a smashing lad on and off the field and whatever he does next season I for one wish him every success in whatever he does in his next adventures in rugby league. 🏉🏉🏉

Does the funding not have to be paid back on the outstanding debts from Whitehaven? Surly they have had loans to complete this season on top of everyone's donations also?

Absolute joke though, the league one teams are already at an unfair playing field with the teams coming down and them having alot more money.

But hey Jonty/Charlotte took haven up a few years ago with the best locals, hopefully he can do it again next season.

Just hope we have 3 teams next season what ever league there in.
