Sailaway
A good start as he should continue to develop well in League 1. He should have been given more opportunities after Patton left.
wayner
Yes I agree, Stevens is a talented young player who should have been playing standoff as soon as Patton left - instead Hall was switched there and to be honest even when Stevens played, the ball mostly went out to where Gibson was. Lets hope the new coach sees Stevens as his first choice standoff.

Urge
And now: Mitch Cox Jordan Brown Dan Abram Jordan Case Gavin Rodden Pretty happy with that, I heard a rumour a couple of months ago that Abram was looking at leaving at the end of the season so didn't expect him to sign. Rodden is a great re-signing. Edited October 30 by Urge

Rodden is a great re-signing. Yes Rodden got offered terms at North Wales but has chosen to stay, Abram is good at this level as is Case, Brown is a squad filler and I always preferred Cox in centre (where he got MOS) then Second Row, He always strikes me as someone who isnt quite big enough for the forwards and not fast enough for the backs but solid enough. He was until you was relegated There might be a U-Turn on the cards now. We thought the Championship was hard enough last season Think League 1 will be harder Dewsbury, Swinton, Whitehaven All have targets on their backs

Yes, it's going to be difficult, I'm not expecting anything this year, just hope Swinton can compete.

wayner
Sounds like Adam Sidlow is just the player we need to marshal the team (which we lost when Patton left). I personally would love to see Roby re-sign but I imagine he will want to stay in the championship I also agree with Urge's comment that the next season has to be one for rebuilding - to expect anything else with 75% of the squad gone is wishful thinking. Roby liked a comment on facebook asking if he was staying, make of that what you will. Positive words from Wood in todays paper about players approaching him asking to sign, club have also called a forum at SAle on the 9th Dec 1 "When you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose; it's how drunk you get." -Homer Simpson "I couldn't be more chuffed if I were a badger at the start of the mating season" Ian Holloway
