Toulouse Olympique sign London Broncos playmaker

TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE have brought in the first fresh face for their Super League return by signing Luke Polselli from London Broncos.

Italy international Polselli, 27, can play at fullback or in the halves.

He scored ten tries in 24 appearances in his first season in the British game this year at London.

Before then, Polselli was a regular feature in the Queensland Cup, spending four seasons with Sunshine Coast Falcons.

Toulouse coach Sylvain Houles said: “We are very happy to have signed Luke.

“He is a very big competitor, and he can play both in the back and in the middle.

“He is fast, poses good options in attack and will cause danger in the opposing defenses.”

Polselli said “Joining a club like Toulouse is a dream come true. I’m really looking forward to meeting the team and starting this exciting new chapter.”

Since securing their top-flight place, Toulouse have signed AJ Wallace from Hull KR on a permanent deal and retained hookers Brendan Hands and Calum Gahan.
