must admit im agreeing with this.

The way the clubs and the rfl have acted since this incident has been almost perfect, showing the game in a good light.

If im honest, i actually think the game can capitalise on this if it is careful. There will be plenty of fans who watched this clip and saw a packed ground and it being talked about like a major event. It may have been bad, but it was certainly awareness raising, and whilst I support Wilsons suggestions about toning it down a bit, next year can surely lead promotion of SL and the Grand Final on 2014 being controversial, explosive, and then move into the Test series being all about England recovering from Wembley heartbreak.
There are a couple of good stories there that millions of people are aware of, which is a big start for the marketing teams.

I think someones mentioned it on here before but a penny for First Utilities thoughts!

Could be worth starting a topic entitled "journalist with no previous interest in RL writes a piece not worth wiping your behind on"

Well done Andy. I think he's done a great job here.

FWIW I think he's been very good for about a year. since we used to hammer him on here for his general dourness he's been one of our more positive outlets!
