I suggested something like this a few years ago when the NRL had an under 20’s competition. Base them at Gosford playing out of the big stadium there with a squad of 30 odd players. It might cost a lot but the benefits would be enormous.

The Valks have been rubbish so far, they seem to have lost that intimidation factor and their halves are close to the worst in the competition. I think Pryce needs to make some positional changes.

Am I right in saying Leigh, Giants & York are all on 2 wins/3 losses ? I looked at the draw and assuming the Giants beat Barrow and York beat Fev then it will come down to the last round (7) before the split to see who clinches that 4th spot.

Same as Brimson, the guy is a fraud. One of the worst players in the NRL, he hasn’t played a good 80 minutes in 4 years.

You have summed it up perfectly, Jodie C even said in an interview a few days ago that Shona H-H will be playing prop at the World Cup. Heaven help us, she’s not even in the top 3 props at Saints - Whitfield McDonald & Crowl

England in Las Vegas had 7 Saints players in the team. If an England 17 was named tomorrow I would say only Vicky Whitfield would be in and possibly Leah Burke.

I can see Saints having at least another 4 players retire, they say they have good players coming through their Academy but they aren’t even as strong as The Giants or Valks Academy.

Sounds like a cracking game. Interestingly Leon Pryce said Tara Jane Stanley could be back in 3 weeks. Also Savannah Andrade to come back in so hopefully at full strength in the near future.

I like Rowley but some of his team selections this year have me doubting him. Harry Robertson is one of the most gifted players coming through but has been shafted a couple of times this year. Whitby needs persevering with and Jake Davies looks quality but they have been dropped for rubbish players. Any team with a backrower of Shorrocks, Wright & Whitley is not serious about winning the competition.
