  1. He was a revolving door in defence. He needs to play full back and stay out of the line wherever he goes.
  2. Couldn't agree more. Shame the Giants and their fans didn't do it justice. Toulouse were good to watch.
  3. Huddersfield are the rump of a super league club. Flair stadium half full, you've got to ask whether moving to Dewsbury is going to do more damage to the Giants than the problems it's might solve. I personally can't see Huddersfield attracting any decent players based on their performances and the buy-in by the locals. Just watching Wakefield v KR and it's night and day.
  4. I'd be more ambitious than a ground share.
  5. It's not personal but your post would be a foreign language to most people. It just shows how over thinking something makes RL governance too complicated to understand or even justify. Put simply, Huddersfield need to stay where they are rather than messing with imaginary levers to create a false impression regarding their viability without the football stadium.
  6. Huddersfield's track record in sharing/mergers doesn't fill me with confidence. I know as a club we have limited ambition for various reasons but getting into bed with Huddersfield, it's very different from the Bradford situation.
  7. The irony of this is not lost on myself or anyone who can remember back to the late 90's, early 2000's. If this was a story of the hare and the tortoise than I don't know what is. The hare has already got form swallowing up it's neighbours to win the race for SL. Now it's run out of options other than to try and swallow up another victim, who over time has developed a great facility now envied by it's illustrious neighbour. I hope sincerely that Dewsbury politely decline any kind of partnership with the giants. If SL is to be played in North Kirklees, I would rather the heavy woollen clubs come up with their own solution to take advantage of the facilities available and Huddersfield and Sir Ken take their corporate asset-stripping attitude elsewhere.
  8. Best team won by the correct margin. MOM was my call as well. We were man for man better than Town all across the park. Their only try came from a penalty for mouthing off. Ref was largely anonymous which is how I like it and I think only 3 6 agains, which I detest anyway.
  9. I couldn't agree more. We must also be realistic about the quality of half backs we can access. There's only a couple of decent ones in SL.
  10. Sykes's playing days could be over because age does matter, he is 45! No matter how much muscle mass he may have, his joints may resemble soggy biscuits after 30 years of full contact rugby. And with that in mind, he may not want to play and who could blame him.
  11. The quicker the championship get a salary quota system the better, then clubs wouldn't be up to their necks so much. If the RFL capped and categorised salaries so that a club could only have some many A's,B's and C's etc then; We would get a better spread of talent Stop wage inflation where PT players end up with FT salaries! Keep clubs closer to solvency.
  12. How has this thread got this far? It reads like ChatGPT has hooked a load of previous tropes from previous threads and mashed them into this monstrosity. Are any of you desperate enough to have your voice heard, actually real people?
  13. It's more the allocation of finding across the whole game not just the league, which was smashed together at the last minute.
  14. That was my problem with the refereeing. The 6 again rule applied for Super League speed is unfair at this level and totally baffling.
