Ok, so Cas get a penalty, fail to find touch, Field catches and runs straight through the Cas defence and scores. Ergo, result is not changed. A game is never, ever decided on one decision in mid game, not ever.

Wigan play a very structured style, all the players understand the structure, within that you get maverick flair. Recently Wigan have had constant changes ( disrupts the structure if you are not as drilled as the missing players) and French has been playing whilst injured. Wigan will once again prove to be rocksolid come end of season.

Or maybe Moore and myself actually understand the game as opposed to thumping all over a keyboard on emotion.

If a collision and flailing arms becomes a penalty nearly every tackle/offload will be a penalty.

You must have watched a different game, it was a collision. Of course because its Wigan it is a terrible attack by a Wigan player dragging the opposition around the field and trying to kill him, as opposed to the reality of two players colliding and interacting as happens time and time again.

After saying he didn't want to comment he answered a follow up question with how ridiculous, stupid and terrible the decision was and just stopping short of saying the game is bent.

There was f'all in it, nothing anymore than happens in loads of tackles every game. On another angle, the challenge should only look at the incident challenged. I don't see why we are looking at what happened outside the challenge, yes you need to know how to restart, but how to restart following the incident looked at.

If we penalised every similar collision the game would never get going.
