  1. This is a more general point, but sometimes I wish RL in this country realised highlights doesn't mean "only tries" There are so many more highlights in a game than just the person putting the ball down
  2. They know how to put on a show, that's for sure. I watched their Coachella set and having a crowd that is more "into it" definitely helps as well. People complain about the make up of Glastonbury's crowd but they always look they're enjoying the music/atmosphere which is what matters.
  3. Don't read the Nigel Wood thread where it's Bradford and London that are the 2 then.
  4. It would pretty impressive if he 1) was asked to influence games in favour of one team 2) to admit that is what happened in writing in a book I can't find any reference to it being 'on record' anywhere in a quick search.
  5. I didn't watch much of Glastonbury this year as I didn't really know many of them, but The Prodigys set definitely made up for it. Even got a bit emotional at the beginning with the Flint tribute
  6. And you only just seemingly found out that taking two marquee, star, creative players out of a side may affect their results
  7. Leyland disappeared from your rankings now?
  8. I find it funny that the 2 clubs that are apparently promoted change depending on what thread you're reading
  9. And it definitely won't catch up if we pretend their competition doesn't exist and don't learn from it, whether than be through players, staff at clubs or at governing body level. You are talking like SL will ever catch up without a huge TV deal bringing in a lot more money into this competition, overseas players bring more talent into SL and makes it more valuable.
  10. Do you know the qualifications Morley has achieved since retirement?
  11. Well maybe they should be paying for more staff to attend with the wages and rent on a property for Papali'i. Disgraceful wasting of money..
  12. Ok, and this started as how UK school children may not be aware of what a Bronco is.. Which none of what you say goes against. Especially in London where kids times of only seeing a horse in person is probably when a police officer rides past occasionally.
  13. He's his mate, and has been providing his comments throughout the week, so I am not sure why you would assume that? His publication already put out a story on this and Martyn wasn't the one whose name was on it.
  14. @Martyn Sadler One hour left of business hours, still silence?
  15. "A bronco is a wild or partially tamed horse, especially one from the western plains of North America, known for its tendency to buck or throw its rider." We don't have wild horses in the UK, so we wouldn't use the terminology. You seem to be twisting what the original conversation was about to this for no reason.
