  1. He would have been. Can’t believe our ‘halves’ don’t latch on to the fact that he is a powerful lad with good hands. Pass, support him and if he gets his hands free you’re away.
  2. Oh yes, I agree but it makes for a pathetic spectacle. Basically challenge anything and with luck you’ll get a result. Chuffed the Dolphins won actually.
  3. I don’t think anyone knows what his best position is. I don’t think he has the grit and determination for prop, speed for the back three, skill and athletism for the backs. I can only see him as an impact player coming on close to the oppositions line.
  4. I watched that game. Really is difficult for both players and officials.
  5. Yeah, at one stage he was a very good player. Not now. I just hope we don’t lose any of this good kids coming through as a result. I only know of his indescretions, not his mentoring skills but based on his history who would take him seriously?
  6. Just needs to be given plenty of ball. Hasn’t been the case so far.
  7. I went to see the Valkyrie play Saints a couple of weeks ago. It was an invite but I paid £20 into their office anyway and would willingly pay it again for that standard. I think the standard of rugby is where some get hung up on. The upper levels of the womens game is very good value, even more so when you see the effort they put.
  8. I haven’t really thought much about the ‘Live’ thing but internal audits/records can be a good thing - especially if it shows improvements. I suggest some Live recording might Clubs keep up to date, rather than wait until an official Audit (3/6/12 months or whatever). I am guessing but could the Auditing fees not be accounted for? It will be manna from heaven to an auditing company.
  9. This is what I was alluding to. There should be a definitive guide to what Clubs need to do to achieve a requirements in each Clause. I would’ve expected some form of detail to have already been drawn up. If it hasn’t, that would show that this ‘Plan’ hasn’t received the attention it should have. I doubt that is the case and would be amazed if it’s the opposite. Ideally, clubs need to be doing their own, internal audits. Another cost not probably accounted for! Nonetheless, there still needs to be agreed audit requirements otherwise clubs will be arguing the toss over everything. Edit: tbf, they have got a decent structure from what I’ve seen. Other than the fine details in the audit requirements I would add HR, Training and Non conformance.
  10. Other than the Slides, was there ever more detail in how this would run, be checked, by whom?
  11. The main problem buying this age group is previous injury. I fear that Hulls impatience will neglect this in desperation and it will hurt them. Cant afford to be back of the queue anymore. We need another marquee player.
  12. As much as I’d like to impressed, I aren’t with this one. I suppose there needs to be some strength to provide a platform for the youth that’s coming through but, and with respect to OH, we need to be targeting players of a better standard now. Fifita would do.
  13. The agent released the information first, as they do, but why the issue of a YouTube video with the rant? Quite clear he is bitter and wants the world to know. I see now he’s brought Chanberlain back earlier from his loan at Hull.
