Two more players for Wigan, they have promoted Jenna Foubister from the Academy and signed Gracie Bradshaw from Saints.

Nirada Phonsayo, just saw her interviewed on Wigan tv. Says she is a second rower, Wigan need size up front but she doesn’t look all that big. Anyway, hope she is an asset to them.

There is some absolutely freakish players coming through, one is the sister of Dolphins winger Jack Bostock who plays for the Steelers.

I watched Barrow v Wigan and the highlights v York Valkyrie and I have been impressed with number 4. Surname is Hutchinson and I think she has a sister playing on the wing.

I watched Barrow last week v Wigan and they were competitive. They probably just lack a few class players to beat the top teams but good to seem them having a real dig. The centre Hutchinson looks a good player.

I have never heard of her, it looks like she may have had a year out going by her Insta. Its a surprise signing because I think Hetherington & Eastwood can handle the hooking role plus there is young gun Abbie Millward in the under 19’s. Still no word of Wigan’s new Aussie yet.

I’d have Gadwin Springer in the 17, he’s been in pretty good form this season.

Saints need to get Zoe Harris back into the halves alongside Gaskin, it’s crazy how she’s not in the team.

Also interested to see how Alex Stimpson goes coming back from a bad injury and a step up in class.

I think Lucy Eastwood will also fill in at hooker, can’t wait to see this game.

Agree mate, Anna Davies has improved out of sight and in my opinion should make the England squad for the June test v France. Having said that I also want to see Amelia Brown get a start too, her try v Leeds was fantastic, no other winger in WSL could have scored it.

She played one or 2 games off the bench for the Clydesdales. She will be a handy for Wigan but nothing special. The unconfirmed next Wigan signing is a prop and no name yet but I hope they can add a bit of size and power because Wigan are probably the smallest side. At this stage Wigan are nowhere near the big 3 but hopefully when Vicky Molyneux, Molly Jones, Eva Hunter & Cary’s Marsh are back they should be more competitive.

Reace Casey is an Aussie who plays mainly in the backrow and I believe Wigan have another Australian joining soon.

Can’t wait for that game on Sunday.

Kruise Leeming could be in the mix as a backup hooker. Walmsley and Burgess are getting on so the younger props need to step up, Oledzki has been disappointing but there is still time for him to come good. Keep an eye on Noah Stephens from St Helens.
