Yes I agree. Combining different events in double/triple headers demeans the competitions. Having double headers in the same competition is even worse. I would say it is better to have two matches at separate venues in the same competition with an aggregate attendance of 35k is better than a double header with an attendance of 50k. Similarly, running different competitions as different competitions rather than having them in parallel has a number of advantages.

I think it as just a general view of how the RL community thinks. This was reinforced by the last World Cup when after a successful one whereby maximising ticket sales was a success, when followed up by far less generous pricing the result was a disappointment for most. Pricing is a regular topic of conversation for almost any significant event. Cheap pricing gets mostly praised.

It seems from his England Head Coach overtures that he was actively looking for new opportunities for some time. So this is as much about his motivations as it is about interested parties in his services.

Based on what evidence? The reason people do not attend as much as they do for SL fixtures is that they are less attractive, and this is typically the case for less important matches.

Do you mean a poor performance in the semi-final?

Hopefully, the RFL will take action against the club even if they play. Beaumont is a really dislikable and egotistical person.

Leading on from that, from that list, how many learnt their RL in Fiji and how many learnt it in Australia?

I thought they were all cigar smokers or vapers.

covered in seagulls and pigeons?

The vast majority only get interested when Australia play or when the WCC is in England.

Would be interesting to know what is the break-even today.

There has been a lot of extreme violence in PNG matches over the years yet I do not recall the British media showing much interest in it. There are still regular articles in the media regarding violence and tragedy that occurred decades ago. If this happened in the UK it would be treated very differently. The media considered alleged corruption in the World Cup bids at FIFA to be far more newsworthy (until officials in the English bid were implicated).

His try to game ratio was much high at Newcastle and Leeds

Out of interest why was it unlistenable?

Georgia Satellites "BBC In Concert : Live at Reading" - Intense bar band that got lucky Frank Zappa "Waka/Jaka" - highly underrated album Culture "Two Sevens Clash" Blue Murder "No One Stands alone" - worth it just for the title track, not to be confused with the poddle permed rockers of the same name Buddy Guy w.
