He was going well at Parkrun this morning .

Some of these lads will find it hard to get gametime. I'd expect unless due to injuries they'll be Reid, Gibson, Farrer , Fulton and Lawther. I'd say we could just do with a second rower now but maybe Corkhill will switch there if needed.

We don't know how much the investment will be, who they've offered contracts to, they'll have bigger attendances than most and zero debt. You'd think only one consortium have made him an offer. He'll be a great bonus if he does return but there's several players who have been doing pre season ahead of him for spots.

He signed a contract so until he's confirmed as a Salford player he's in breach of contract if he doesn't return . I would imagine knowing how well we treat players that both parties are waiting to see whether it works out for him there and a deal can be done. The competition for places in the backs will be immense .

So it's a month until they're due to kick off and we still don't know who's going to be running the club and no timescale given on a decision date. How on earth can 3 different consortiums have a squad of at least 20 players signed up and ready to go ? Are they the same players who'll play for whoever is given the gig? Will Levi go there even if his mother's bid isn't accepted?

Apparently there is but no details yet.

Well it should mean Mr Atiga back in a Town shirt. Sad to lose Salford, apart from the last few years i've admired how they surpassed expectations with a passionate bunch of loyal fans in a football area ..ok it's a different city but basically Manchester. I can just remember the likes of Keith Fielding and our semi final with Kenny Kerr and the replay in front of a 6000 fans. Lancashire cup finals and ironically going down to the Willows to save our club from being kicked out by the RFL!
