People seem to think IMG have some sort of control over the game and decide what happens. They don't, IMG make recommendations which the clubs vote on. 4 more "traditional" SL teams will mean 2 additional games pulling in an average 5-6k fans pw, so c12k and not 30k - although I think that is fine. The most immediate problem with going to 16 will be persuading the 12 existing clubs to take a 33% cut in their share of central funding, how do you propose doing that?

Other that the money the owners of these clubs have spent on them, what "investment" has been put into Toulouse and London and by whom?

Council parking right next to the stadium is £10, very easy in and out yesterday. Fan zone was rather lame, with better food choices in the stadium. ABK beer on sale so had a pint in the fan zone, tasted very ordinary so a bit disappointed. Atmosphere in the ground decent enough, was in the East Stand lower and the seats were fine.

Perez / his Canadian consortium owns Truro FC and Cornwall RLFC so I would assume so, probably from next season.

Last year and this year tickets are on open sale, in every price range. If was an organised tour, you could have told them you were sorting your own tickets, pretty sure they would have accommodated you.

You don't HAVE to spend silly money if you don't want to.

I'm not aware of any league, in any sport, in any country across that world that doesn't allow foreign players. RL has had overseas player bans at various times in the past, it never worked. I think the answer is about getting the balance right, not adopting one extreme or the other.
