I think it's important that we try and persuade as many Roughyeds, old and new to come along to Bower Fold this Sunday.  We're playing Bradford (Bulls|Northern), a city who like our own town were founder members of the Rugby League.

This is what promotion last year was all about.  With all due respect to the expansion teams in the south, Oldham, a town soaked in RL heritage, deserves to take its place amongst the giants of the game.

Get your next-door neighbour, your brother-in-law, that bloke down the pub, your Mrs, your kids, anyone you can and get them to Bower Fold to shout on Oldham.

Sure, Bradford will start favourites but so did Dewsbury, currently fourth in the league and we had them looking like rabbits in the headlights.

Come on you 'yeds!

As Dave says, this is what getting promotion was all about. So get over to Bower Fold and be part of it. Let's create a big atmosphere and show the lads some great support.

Come on the Roughyeds!!

You're absolutely right. This is definitely a big game and plenty of people around here are talking about it.

One thing that may have been lost on some of you lot is there are an awful lot of potential RL supporters in general and Oldham fans in particular here in Tameside.

So while you're here, you could find yourselves a lot of new fans - especially if you can stay up.

8.00am and its snowing again here in Lees, could be another 6 inches or so by the look of it, although most of yesterdys has gone now on the roads the gardens are stil well covered. Did they remove all the snow on Saturday , ?? i doubt it, If not then it doesnt look good, could be a wet and cold night in Stalyvegas later this month then ??? if this is the case then unforetunately its more money down the drain , literally :(
