Sharks suddenly switched on. They found what Farmduck thought they'd lost.

They know I"'ve just come in and switched on.

Player trivia: Dylan Walker's mum was one of the last Pitcairners. There are only about 50 people left on Pitcairn Island. Walker's mum, Judy Warren, wasn't descended from one of the original Bounty mutineers, but from a whaler who arrived on Pitcairn in the 1870s.

Halfway through the first half at Penrith:

 

- it's 6-6

- beautiful sunny day, dry track and fast game

- Panthers got a penalty 10m out, straight in front, and decided not to kick - hooray!!!

- Very hazy out there because of the hazard reduction burning and the cold night and the dead calm producing a temperature inversion

 

 

27min: Tyrone Peachey crosses, Soward converts. Panthers 12-6

A few head injuries: Ash Taylor, Soward, Bird. Great piece of karma to see Bird smashed in the ribs slightly late after he had passed the ball. His head smacked into the ground and he was pretty vacant. He gave the Touch Judge a big serve as he was being taken off.

The attrition continues: Hiku off with a knee injury that looked bad - stretcher and all. James Fisher-Harris has a dislocated thumb and Campbell-Gillard a broken nose.

 

Hiku possibly gone for the season? At best it's a medial ligament, at worst, ACL.

 

Cameras picking out Zeb Taia's family in the crowd. In his younger days Taia played for the St Clair Comets in the Penrith League.

 

 

47min: Anthony Don crosses, magically keeps his foot inside the line then drops the ball.

 

 

Now Tyrone Roberts is off with an extreme something of some body part. Leg?
