I wasn't sure if it was a proper game as I'd previously heard it was a training match. Good for the Bears to get a hit out though

Finished I think 54 4 to Bears

Was more than a training session but not quite a competitive match in that 4 x 20 played and two of them were a bit short. Competitive however with two players sin binned.

Bears worth the margin of victory and would have been more in better conditions. A lot of handling errors but inevitable in conditions

Decent facility with almost identical stadia for football and rugby both 4g with c 500 capacity stands on each

No local publicity for match and only 14 in attendance

Bit of a shame there was some confusion around the structure of the 'game' , we'd planned to go but it would have been a bit of a b^***er travelling all the way to South Wales for a training session !! Thanks for the update Groundhopper .
