Some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen on and off the field, made for an exciting end and second half, after what was a fairly dire first half. Glad the best team won in the end.

If Newcastle had Ponga and Pearce, they clearly would’ve won that

What a crazy game, the bunker and refs head honcho will be battening themselves down in preparation for the sh**storm that that the media will work itself up into over that game, bet there thankful that it's Origin week and it was the Warriors involved which should lessen the fury somwhat, imagine if had been the Roosters or Souths! Rozzfield & Kent et al would have exploded?

Matt Cecchin goes to the bunker but I'm sure he's just checchin who knocked the ball dead.

Josh Bogan down with a knee to the ribs/kidneys

Townsend misses this one.  Sharks 8 - 6

They've gotta find a goal kicker - Moylan?

NRL debut for Britlander Herbie Farnworth from somewhere up north.

Farnworth - who hails from the tiny Lancashire village of Blacko which has a population of less than 1,000 - was on the books at Old Trafford for two years as youngster. There was also interest from Manchester City at the time, but the fomer Wigan St Pats and Newton Storm youngster instead chose to focus on rugby league, and moved to Australia to pursue his dream.

Now 19, the talented winger will make his NRL bow for the biggest club in the competition against Cronulla this weekend. And his coach at feeder clubs Norths Devils Rohan Smith - formerly at Bradford Bulls - says he deserves his shot at Australia’s big time.

No he's playing for the Horsies, not the Storm

Sharks have een generally on top but that second Broncos try was a Sharks mistake more than anything and the Sharks have missed both goal kicks.

Broncos 7, Sean O'Sullivan not coming back after HT
