Players free to speak to rival clubs on Friday

Free to talk about what?

Tea?

The weather?

Strawberries and cream?

I don’t think any club right now is in any position to even think about the recruitment of new players or the retention of existing players as it seems most if not all are furloughed and let’s not beat round the bush we don’t yet know if all the clubs will actually survive this crisis, especially when it seems that their are serious financial issues at both the Hull clubs that potentially threatens their existence.

And if that is the case then surely their must be grave fears for frankly most clubs sadly.

This is another reason for scrapping relegation in 2020, if clubs know they are in Super League 2021 they can start to plan their rosters accordingly and make signings/give out new contracts.

Of course they’ll be thinking about recruitment of new players.
