Lowdesert
This is still to sort out and I would imagine a few more. Difficult times and understandable for Players to be reconsidering as well as Owners trying to balance things up. https://www.wakefieldexpress.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/wakefield-trinity-boss-michael-carter-unsure-if-players-will-return-training-july-20-2910599
Robthegasman
I can understand the players not being happy.I don’t think I would be wanting to bother either.
redjonn
So the club furloughs players on their existing wages, whom get 80% of. Once off furlough the club lowers players wages. Doesn't seem morally right, to have government/hmrc paying wages based on a higher amount for which the club plan to lower when they come off furlough. Remember the Furlough scheme is only a maximum of £2500 per month per employee, not 80% of their salary
