Dragons still being in 7th says a fair bit about the overall quality this season . It’s a comp which is without the depth the NRL often boasts of . There’s Panthers and Storm way ahead as of now , Eels to the Sea Eagles with some hope of challenging them in the play offs , and then the rest . We’re seeing blow outs , one sided games , some average to poor sides and clear divides that aren’t usual from my memory . Been some quality but more than a few of games that are pretty underwhelming

Yes, the NRL is seeing a bit of a lull at the moment. There's too many one sided scores with a big divide.

I agree there are too many ordinary games. Currently there looks like only two maybe three ........ or four sides likely to have a sniff at being Premiers. Panthers look like they will sail on and clinch the Minor Premiership, who knows, without losing a game.

Okay as R12 showed not every game is predictable, but that's teams struggling for consistency rather than any general improvement in their quality of play from what I've seen.
