As usual Gould talks a lot and tries to come out of this as the insightful one with everyone else in the wrong.

He confirms on the podcast that a club contacted him about the Bulldogs letting Thompson go early and he said he was open to an offer and so they should contact his manager.

The article quoted at the beginning of this thread said "the club is thought to be considering the potential of letting him leave early."  Isn't that exactly what Gould confirmed they were doing?

It seems a good idea for a UK player to get an NRL registered manager if he plays in Australia.  Clarke will have been using a third party as he isn’t registered, so there’s extra costs for Luke straight away.
