glemiln
Have I missed something? With only a few days to the start of the league campaign, the lack of news and build-up to the Crusaders game is deafening, both clubs and on social media. The performances in the Challenge Cup should attract a good attendance (more than 920!) especially with a lovely sunny forecast. (Surely, NWC fans will prefer Rochdale to Colwyn Bay?). It would be surprising/ disappointing if both clubs were not in the top four come the play-offs. A 28-22 win for Hornets, hopefully.
Anita Bath
A few days? It’s another blank weekend for teams in the third tier. We played three cup games and then have to wait a month for the league to start. imagine what it would have been like if we had lost in the first round. And the fixtures do us no favours…our first three away games in South Wales, London and cornwall. Don’t believe anyone who says it’s a northern game. Just stupidity on the part of the RFL to organise the schedule in this way…all about protecting the interests of the mighty at the expense of the rest of the league. glemiln
Yes, AB of course the start is 27/3…it must be my age and the prolonged league starting date. Any reason why there is no Law Cup “friendly” with the Oldham tribe? Apparently, there is another restructure on the cards at the end of 2023. Main forum - “Ralph Rimmer says” (no detail !) - wherein discussion, so far, is focused on Super League 1 & 2 (2x10).
Anita Bath
To Ralph Rimmer rugby league doesnt exist beyond SL. Maybe he dreams about having 20 FT clubs and clearing the decks of everything else. Lets not forget what happened to Sheffield Eagles under his watch and he is now showing the same level of disinterest in semi professional rugby league. Oh for the return of administrators with the game at heart (bill fallowfield anyone?)

glemiln
https://t.co/TE8p8a10uY Sadly, our first league and key outing is again restricted to 920. I understand from social media that our board is in the process of resolving the situation. Details and for how long this is to continue will have to be aired sometime. Dale has a home game tomorrow night….unrestricted? Unfortunately, Dale has not a few things on its mind at the moment: https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjUm8CIi9f2AhUknVwKHXwsASYQvOMEKAB6BAgqEAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2F60763114&usg=AOvVaw0g5J8AVwcJ9F3cj1fAjyJN

Hornets Chairman has responded on twitter to supporters. It would appear the club are dealing with a situation and there may be reasons it needs to be kept private.
