26,000+ witnessed Hornets march on the semi final (and beyond). Oh  for an attendance like that at Easter. We dont get that many in an entire season.

I expect you lot still complaining about the only try of the game being a forward pass no doubt

Eh. In all honesty, I view this thread as a compliment. Look at that crowd. That was a real long time ago. But in more recent times I have been in big Oldham crowds. Burnden Park semi for one. The people my age should still be coming to games.

It will be a sad day when either (or both) of our clubs are no longer around to  engage.

Actually, I was there.  No, it wasn't a forward pass.

Not only did your left-winger (the try scorer) put his foot in touch but to add insult to injury he bounced the ball and failed to ground it correctly over the try line.

As the video replay (if there had been one at the time) would have clearly shown.

NO TRY should have been the correct result.

"We was robbed". As always.

We shall seek our long-awaited revenge at Easter.

I am glad you yeds are engaging. I started a thread on the Hornets page on March 11th and the only response received was from one of you lot!
 

Given weve only won the cup once I thought there would be at least a handful of nets wanting to celebrate our centenary of that cup win.

Now do your duty in yorksher this weekend!

And very proud I am of being "one of you lot".  I for one am pleased that Hornets, won before we went on our 4 consecutive final run.
