Tricky one, when Hornets made one of there several brakes a Hunslet player knelt down holding his head this allowed their defence to reset and the player wasn’t made to leave the field. When Hunslet made a break which to me looked like he was going all the way to score Shoey made a professional foul and was rightly sin binned. Which one is correct?

One thing we don’t want is Rugby League going the way of football with all the play acting and big strapping blokes falling over like ten year old kids. They did nothing about it and now it’s endemic throughout the game. It’s embarrassing to watch. It needs stamping out sharpish if it comes into our game.

Realistic view from the Chairman ;-

'' need to focus on doing the basics well mate as you say they have so much potential and when they just knock sets out and play smart they will take some beating. Encouraging signs today and we need to build on it now 🐝🏉''

'' Next to no central funding and on the back of a pandemic it’s never been tougher to operate a RL club but we are having a go and will be in the mix i am certain 💪🐝🏉 ''

Some of our players are penalties on legs.

Brilliant!

It seems that refs are under orders to clamp down to keep the game flowing.   Given that yesterday’s official was the same as for the Keighley game, we managed to keep under his radar until the last 10mins when our player (again) unsuccessfully tried his luck!  The top 6 positions are going to be keenly fought and we have to focus on all aspects.  Hopefully now we are a settled squad.

Perhaps we should mic-up a player.  Make sure the sound is working - the classic encounter is about 2-3mins in.

A good win yesterday and a much better performance all round. I thought that Shoey was hard done by to be yellow carded. Judging by his reaction he scertainly thought that he was not at fault. The fact that it was our most hated Ref was a contributory factor. He was ye again totaly appaling. The Hunslett fans were having a real go at him. He must be the worst ref that i have seen for many a year.

A good win by Doncaster at North Wales is a great result for us. And as I type Oldham are 62 v 0 down at Keighley. All in all a much better weekend. What a difference two weeks make.
