Keighley will have  a programme on sale at this weeks game v Newcastle

I see Footie Print are doing Keighley's programme this season. Footie Print did a good job in 2022 - as they do with their 30-strong stable of non-league football club customers. Price held at £2.50.

On the wider subject of programmes: I was at Cheshunt Football Club a few Saturdays ago. Having been promoted to National League South (step two in the pyramid), the Ambers have resumed printed programmes, after several seasons of digital only issues. The editor told me the club's wealthy owner warned him: "Just don't lose money." As it happens, the editor sold sufficient adverts during the summer for each programme (£3, 32 pages) to be straight profit. Cheshunt attract about 500 spectators. If a club their size can do it (not to mention the amateurs in the NCL), why can't so many professional and semi-professional rugby league clubs? I guess it's easier, if you're the comms person, merely to tweet a few characters of pap.

Halifax, Huddersfield and Midlands in the 'nothing' category, it seems.

No indication North Wales issued today. They tend to plug their programme on social media. Shame if they've stopped. Been regular issuers throughout their existence.

Wigan will have a printed programme this season. 'Warrior' costs £4. From tomorrow's game with Wakefield, it will be available from sellers around the ground and at the club's Robin Park Arena store.

Wigan also have a digital version available, at £3. It's a PDF, on sale from an hour before kick-off.

Production of both physical and digital programmes is by Matchday Creative.

Batley issued a match specific printed programme (£3) for today's game against Keighley. Produced by Batley Independent Supporters Squadbuilder Association (BISSA) and Batley Sporting Foundation. I'm told the combo plans to produce three other programmes this season - for the fixtures with Bradford, Featherstone and Halifax.

Leigh Leopards issued a 64-page printed programme (£5, big cat on the cover!) for their 2023 Super League opener against Salford Red Devils. It's a MatchDayCreative production. They did Leigh's 2022 programme. The Salford programme is marked 01, so it looks like this will be a regular issue.
