miaow
The lads are not the only team in action this weekend Our ladies are about to get their first run out at a 9 aside tournament in Warrington Its going to be a tough day 6 am start( now thats commitment on a sunday morn) and placed in a group pitted with the current super league champions york and runners up barrow, they are nervous excited and looking forward to getting out there. Cant fault these lasses commitment busy working mums who spend all the time running kids around to rugby football and many other sports who are managing to find time to pave the pathway for our ladies. The ladies have come a long way since the first training session wishing them all the best for a great experience and cant wait to see them on home soil. And lets not forget the lasses are doing this without any reward other than they believe in the game of rugby leage they belive in women and they belive in Workington Town ...why you might ask well thats simple Women are superhuman #UTTL
Route66
Good luck to the ladies today, the club as a whole is making great strides within the community, long time coming and a difficult road to travel but these efforts will pay dividends in the future
