The 2024 Operational rules say that a maximum of 200 pupils per year can be taken from the community game and these are to be spread equally between ALL clubs licensed to run a scholarship programme. The squad can be topped up by Talent transfers but these must not have played for an amateur club in the previous 2 years.

Does anyone know if the RFL have authorised different figures or is someone playing fast and loose with the rule book yet again ?

Yes, the RFL will know. Why don’t you ask them by emailing or sending a letter instead of making suggestive comments or clubs breaking the rules ‘again’ …
