One of Hynes vs the Dolphins, Fifita vs Wests, Drinky vs the Raiders, Manu / Teddy vs the Eels, Garrick / DCE vs St George or Edwards vs Newcadtle. I think any or all of them are valid choices, as would Latrell against the Broncos.

Tending towards Fifita as VC as he plays early, with final choice of captain to be made later in the weekend.

I was extremely busy last week that I completely forgot to sort my team out for Round 14. I'll have to make changes this week. Trades getting low, though.

To be fair it’s been a tough season so far for SC’s. The regular weekly bye is a running sore. The injury mountain of star players has made it nye on impossible to sustain a regular line up. Then on top of that there’s the restricted rounds due to Origin matches. Looking on the positive side, it’s been a nice day here in Yorkshire.

Exceptionally difficult season so far. Lately many Supercoaches have traded players in, only for them to get injured. Or, players in form have suddenly lost form after trading them in. Captain picks have been pretty underwhelming, too.

I am reading that Fifita, Dom Young and KPP may all be late withdrawals this week. Big Dave has already been omitted from the Titans 19. Could have a major impact on a number of Supercoach teams. Edit : not to mention J'maine Hopgood.

The late injuries caused chaos. Normally at this stage of the season a score of under 1100 means red arrows and a drop of at least 1500 places in the overall leader board. I improved by 200 places!

What is the correct time to reintroduce Nicho Hynes to my team? He plays round 19 and will be another $100k plus cheaper next week after today's performance. However, he doesn't look on top form, the Sharks aren't quite there and Cleary should be back soon. Talk me in to / out of buying him next week. Please and thank you.

Edit : apparently his price will be down to $745k with a break even of 128 Subject to updates.

His price will fall quite a lot after his relatively low SC score in R17 (47 points).

Imagine if anyone brought him in this week and captained him!  That would be disastrous.

Hynes his problem Trindall is in the team again. Look at his scores in the games Trindall missed.

Sharks have an "easy" run home and only played the Panthers, Storm and Roosters once this year. Love to know how that draw is made in the NRL.

Anyhow made the right decision in captaining Te Maire Martin this week very little difference between him and Moses.

Latrell Mitchell injured and could be season ending.

I've had my best week that I can remember in many weeks. Injuries and the bye rounds have been so difficult to manage. I've slipped down the table but hoping I can stay in the top 8. Now have the Latrell injury to deal with.

.Tricky season when it has been difficult to develop and maintain the team I’d have liked. Too many injuries, too many byes, too much inconsistency, it’s all too much

Reports today that Nicho Hynes was injured at training. Length of absence not known yet, but he has been sent for scans. Adding him to Latrell, Manu and JMK last week makes for problems - specially going into another bye round and the likelihood that many Origin players will be rested for Round 20.

More trades, please?!?!?!?!?!?!

Never known a season like this for injuries to key players on top of the most complex bye situation which is a steady drip that erupts at Origin time.

Reported that Nicho is out for 6 or 8 weeks (depending whose report you believe). Ideally he would be replaced by Cleary or Sam Walker, but that means no half back this week. Do we think Cody Walker is worth a punt?

I have been mulling this over whilst I had a 20 minute wait in the doctors surgery, prior to having blood pressure checked as part of my annual review. Not surprisingly, it didn't help the reading!
