I got off to a flyer this year, then made the mistake of trading my cheapies for so called guns  who lost form and cash hand over fist. Still ill have the quartet from Manly back next week and Cotter and after the Warriors performance today Te Marie Martin should get his place back so i'llhave 23 for the play-offfs.

Trades (if you have any left) are going to be crucial this week. Roosters on a bye and another round where key players have picked up injuries.

I think most of us are struggling to put the 17 we really wanted to put together this week. I really want to save my final trade for round 25 or 26, but I'm not sure I dare wait that long.

I’ve saved one trade for each remaining round, well that’s the theory anyway.

That is a very good position to be in. It was my aim at the start of the season, but went up in smoke a long time ago!

If I am going to make the trade I am thinking about, I will have to do it before Game 1, which means I can't see my opponent's response to the injury issues we all have before I make a decision. What's everyone else planning to do?

I'm just looking to get 17 on the field. Up against Graham (can't lose that one) might go for a wild card captain this week. Apart from the Grand Final Parramatta  do well against him

Congratulations to Geaham on his win. Like to say we shall meet again in the final but somehow doubt I will be there.

Thanks IS

I could have scored a lot more.

I’ve been carrying F Sharpe since Origin trying to trade up from him but had to change others first. I had him as a non-player in my squad this week and he suddenly gets 100+ out of nowhere! I might just keep him now!

It was a funny old week. I thought I might struggle without my Easts players and that is how it turned out. Too many poor or non contributors.

These byes are killers in a steady dripping way.

Is Teddy a must have, even if you own both Turbo and Ponga?

If I had Turbo and Ponga I wouldn't be trading either of them. I think you need any 2 of Teddy, Turbo and Ponga.

Which makes it strange that I didn't use my last trade to bring one of them in!

So Supercoach favourite Nathan Cleary is out for the rest of the regular season.

No Cody Walker next week, either. Concussion protocols.

This week there's no Holmes, Cotter or Drinkwater due to byes. I don't think there's anyone else relevant from the Cowboys except maybe Reece Robson or Tom Dearden? Cleary, Hynes and Walker are all missing from the halves, with Walsh and Mitchell unavailable at full back. Haas would have been in many teams as well.

Will be interesting to see who gets rested this week. Suggestions are that both the Roosters and Storm are wanting to rest players, so that could leave us without Tedesco, Crichton, Young, Manu, Sam Walker, Hughes, Grant, Katoa, Papenhuysen and more.

Help!!

Well not thinking I would make the final whisked the team off for a deserved holiday to Mediterranean shores for 17 days. Well at the mo no 5/8 for the final but perhaps I'll finish how I started the season. Good luck to my opponent and the teams in the other final 😀

That was some week.

I will be fascinated to see how @Graham feels losing a semi final despite scoring 1,500. Has this ever happened before?

A quick look at the teams in my final suggests it will be a low scoring contest - unless Marge has trades left, or Bellamy doesn't rest most of the Storm first teamers as he currently threatens to do.

I was ranked in the top 3% with that score and was still beaten! Aaarrrrggggghhhh!

Congratulations to Mitchell and his Cross XIII though who scored a magnificent 1,698 points. Cor blimey! I can't say I was just beaten, it was a clear margin of victory for you.

So... I was disappointed after working hard to improve my side. I have a low value team that has produced much better than its paper value suggests in recent weeks. The luck of the draw then... or lack of it! 😀

Even so I had to be very happy with my score. (I am currently second in the public league I'm in and was the highest scorer in that round.)

I hope to do better next season!

R26 will be challenging as you say if Storm do rest up to 10 of their first team squad.

These last two rounds will be a struggle for some, especially as trades will be in very short supply.
