All supporters buying a season ticket are doing so to help the club not necessarily for gain. At the moment money is tight so you can’t blame people for holding back waiting for offers. It’s always been a chicken and egg situation , you give us a consistently winning side and the club saying come and watch in numbers and we will give you a winning team. I think sponsors are the answer and every Rochdale business could help. The Directors are doing a brilliant job and do deserve all the support they can get I hope they continue with there efforts .

The current directors have done a magnificent job to keep the club going but there has to be some response from the public. Botton line is Rochdalians have little interest in sport in general. With the possible exception of the early post war years its always been the case

The original statement and update went out on the 25th of October via the clubs website after approximately 2 weeks of memberships being on sales.

Mazey has since replied to a supporter on X stating that steady progress has been made with 50% of the budget target now hit and still plenty time with Xmas etc and intimated despite a slow start there seems to be a confidence in hitting / exceeding targets.

It would suggest a proactive approach in being transparent with the fans may hopefully lead to a more positive outcome.
