sounds like we were lucky to get a draw 18 all but I was listening on bais BBC Leeds - given their bias - they did say we should have had a 40-20 but Laughton said NO

I have never known an eagles match at featherstone when Fev fans didn't say the ref was on Eagles side - I remember one match he (Karl Kirpatrick I think had to have a police escort off the pitch) - I wasn't there today so I can't really comment on this one but sometimes mate the Ref if right ( I was only commenting on what the BBC Leeds commentators said)

I envy you the experience of having seen the draw - we have at least two more encounters this year amd I'm sure like last year we will be close but after last seasons last game it does seem odd that fev fans should complain about unfair treatment or rough stuff

I'm happy with the draw. It's was a slow start but we got back into it well. Lets bear in mind it was a fairly scratch experimental side. Ronnie was his usual pedantic self but we should expect nothing less. Glad it was a good rugby spectacle and not a boxing match. Plenty to go away and build on.

Performance was average at best, were probably lucky to scrape a draw but at least we kept going until the end. Team was largely experimental, we're obviously still waiting for a couple of our best players to arrive. The kicking game in particular today was really off, needs working on for the start of the league season. Away support was incredibly disappointing today, I know it was cold and no one really cares about this competition but surely we should be able to take more fans than we did for what is a really short journey.
Hopefully the last minute try to snatch a draw should give us some momentum into next week's game.
Oh and as for the ref "being on our side" get a grip, I thought the ref actually had a decent game today, if not a little pedantic for both sides. Yes Mitch did a spear tackle, but he called it! And placed him on report, which was probably the correct decision. The high tackle right at the death just before we scored on Alex Rowe was 10x worse but was only punished with a penalty. Quit munching the sour grapes and admit you didn't win because you didn't kick enough goals, nothing to do with the referee.

This is your first unedited post and both previous ones just contain a full-stop, so other views do not exist ? ......
Happy days ......

matter of stats ...... Kirkpatrick was escorted from the pitch when Eagles played Wakefield on 26th March 1995 iin the Stones Bitter Championship and Eagles won 14 - 10

I thought Ronnie had a good game and bearing in mind the last encounter it perhaps needed this type of ref today. However todays game was more about playing Rugby that fisticuffs.
Featherstone missed 3 kicks but they weren't easy ones however the player who missed the drop goal should be towel whipped in the showers by his team mates.
I thought we were OK today, bear in mind we have Danny Mills, Menzie Yere,Misi Taulapapa and Ryan Hepworth to come in so it's looking good.

He was quite right. Brendon was well out of the 40.

Make me, its called freedom of speech. Selective quoting on your part me thinks. If you can't be bothered to travel all the way to Fev to watch the game, you can't comment can you.
Feel free to chastise me and attempt a bit more 'one upmanship' amongst your fellow fans to look good, its quite funny to see your feeble attempts.

I didn't remove your posts.
You seem to read a hell of a lot more into these posts than I put in them but if cap fits by all means stick it on!
But don't say things like "can't be bother" - you haven't a clue - I already said you were lucky to be there.
