Will the tie be played at Brammall Lane or Don Valley?

Also its Sheffield Derby on the Sunday so do you think it'll be Friday Night?

so you didn't like my post - didn't think I had to spell it out.
Like it to be Brammeel lane but maybe surrender home advantage to wigan as we split the gate

Hopefully the dream tie to christen the return to Bramall Lane.

With creative pricing and a huge marketing push could we open with an attendance record.

Entry should be 5 max and we should be cajoling everyone we know to attend.

I reckon that if marketed properly, Bramall Lane is capable of drawing a bigger crowd than the 5 or 6k that would go if we played in Wigan.

This match is all about saying the Eagles are back and gunning for Super League, come see us in Englands #1 Club RL Venue.

Sir Alf Ramsey reputedly said to the England soccer team just before extra time in the 1966 World Cup Final - "You've beaten them once, now go out and do it again!",. That is what we want Eag;les to do - repeat of Wembley 1998 only this time with home advantage.

It's a shared gate so pricing is not entirely our decision. sad.gif

I know this quote from the star is a mis-print but

"Being a re-run of the 1998 Wembley game there will be a lot of interest and we hope lost of Eagles fans who were at the Wembley final will come along and see the new team."

should it say lots of or just LOST ???

Very true. mellow.gif

Still, we need to be building our own crowd, not relying on away support.

4pm? That's a really odd time to kick off.

Still, good news it's a Bramall Lane. With Fev there the week before it gives the club a good couple of games to promote.

The Hull-Leeds game is 2pm or 2.30pm I think, so that could be a reason.

Still, it's a bit odd.

Will the Stupid League show be showing cup highlights? Annoyingly I'll be missing this as I'm at a wedding.
